Making a Difference
As a company, we have full control over the entire process of (re)design, production, distribution, refurbishing, and recycling. We recognize that we have a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to sustainability in our industry. At the core of our approach is our belief that choosing high-quality, durable materials is crucial for sustainability. We place a particular emphasis on refurbishing wooden products.
We are committed to developing a new sustainability vision for the next 25 years, one that emphasizes circularity and prolonging product lifespans. Although we know that this will be a long, challenging, and imperfect journey, we believe that every step, no matter how small, counts towards making a positive impact.
From Raw Materials to Shipping: Our Comprehensive Quality Control Process
At Goodwood, we recognize that the success of our business depends on the contributions of our suppliers, which is why we prioritize building long-term partnerships based on trust, respect, and mutual benefit. We understand that the quality of our products is only possible through the dedication and expertise of our partners, and we work closely with them to ensure that we consistently deliver exceptional results.
But we also recognize that our commitment to quality goes beyond just the products we create. It extends to the working conditions of our partners and the impact of our operations on the environment and local communities. That's why we conduct regular audits of our production sites to ensure that they not only meet our high standards for product quality but also uphold ethical social and environmental practices, and respect labor rights and human rights.
At Goodwood, we firmly believe that sustainable success is only possible when we prioritize people and the planet alongside profits. We will continue to work tirelessly to maintain strong relationships with our partners and to ensure that our operations have a positive impact on the world around us.
All of our wood is carefully sourced from responsibly managed forests that comply with the EU and US Timber Regulations and the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Action Plan. Moreover, our Indonesian-sourced wood is verified under the Indonesian Timber Legality Assurance System (SVLK).
